Michael Stern has combined his business experience with over 24 years of specialized training and experience in human behavior assessment and performance enhancement, to bring a comprehensive and pragmatic approach to client projects. Mike operates out of southern Connecticut.
Dr. Stern’s clients include closely-held, family-owned, and public companies. He works with chief executives and leadership teams in the areas of management assessment and development, pre-employment assessment, promotion evaluation, and organizational effectiveness. His Executive Development clients have included the CFO of a $12-billion division of a multinational corporation, the CEO of a 2000-employee international consulting firm, partners of an international accounting firm, presidents of public and privately held firms, and management teams of investment management firms.
Mike is affiliated with APA’s Society of Consulting Psychology, the Family Firm Institute and PDFB, a national family business think tank. He is also on the Advisory Board of the University of Connecticut’s Family Business Program. He has worked with the regional United Way effort to apply business disciplines and increase its community impact. Married with two grown children, Mike is a bit of a floater; he has a passion for coastal and flatwater kayaking.
