Thomas R. Bach, PhD

Senior Consultant

Tom Bach focuses his consulting on learning about, and helping to develop, best practices for individuals and organizations. He has been doing so since 1977. Tom is based in Annapolis, Maryland.

Dr. Bach uses an array of tools and processes for change management, employee involvement and empowerment, and organizational audits. He is particularly skilled in transforming people data into interventions and action plans that are tailored, useful, and integrate human resource strategies with key business/vision objectives. Tom appreciates the “domino effect” of his work i.e., developing people who, in turn, are able to positively impact and develop others in the organization.

Tom has worked with clients in industries including financial services, health care, professional and legal services, telecommunications, manufacturing, electrical utilities, defense industries, information technology, real estate, insurance, as well as state and federal government.

Tom is a member of the American Psychological Association and has been appointed examiner for both the Maryland Performance Excellence Award and the Maryland Psychological Healthy Workplace Award. He was instrumental in establishing a nonprofit organization for cancer patients, CAReS, and served as its first President. Tom is also an avid cyclist, participating in several long-distance rides and time-trials annually.
