Allan Schmidt has for the past 25 years worked with individuals and groups to help them more fully realize their potential in the workplace. Allan is based in Kansas City, Kansas.
Dr. Schmidt’s extensive training and experience in human and organizational performance has allowed him to affect change through team development projects, succession planning, organizational audits, and turnaround of under-performing executives. He has worked with a variety of industries, such as telecommunications, energy, engineering, construction, and accounting. Before beginning his consulting work, Allan spent several years in leadership positions within the health care industry.
An expert in organizational assessment, Allan also works with family-owned businesses to determine the degree to which active family members are performing as a leadership team with a clearly defined purpose. He has helped such companies implement and strengthen their strategic visioning processes, develop multigenerational succession plans and develop their top leaders.
Allan is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, the Association for Corporate Growth, and the Rotary Club. Allan enjoys spending time at the lake with his wife and daughter, who is so inspired by her dad that she has decided to pursue graduate work in psychology.
