Bradford Sutherland, PhD

Senior Consultant

Brad Sutherland has been working in the human performance arena since 1993, helping corporate leaders develop greater effectiveness and productivity. Brad is based in Kansas City, Kansas.

Dr. Sutherland’s background as a partner in his own family’s home improvement company has given him a unique perspective on the challenges and rewards inherent in family-owned businesses. Much of his consulting work has been with leaders in second and third generation family businesses in diverse industries such as insurance, manufacturing and construction. Brad utilizes state-of-the-art assessment technology which gives his client companies a comprehensive view of areas of strength and liability within their organizations.

Building on a data platform, Brad is able to design interventions and solutions that are both target and pragmatic. Brad uses organizational audits to identify forces driving the organization’s performance as well as those hindering it. He is then able to provide focused feedback to the leadership team about performance gaps.

Brad belongs to the Association for Corporate Growth and the Society for Human Resource Management. He also serves on the board of directors for New Horizons, a nonprofit agency working with developmentally disabled adults.
